With a 35-28 win before a Music City Bowl record crowd of 68,661 the UK Wildcats defeated the USF Seminoles.

I found my self outside a lot this holiday season. ALL of my family and every house I visited all some sort of animal that I was allergic to. Since I had my camera with and I was outside I put two and two together and took some nature pictures. I love the outdoors and before I knew you could take pictures of people that’s how I spent my days, taking pictures of landscapes and nature.

My mom’s hand fell after a tragic fist fight with a grizzly bear but we glueded it back on and she’s back on the fast-track to recovery. 

Be sure to look for the new Bears page. Several people have requested seeing the bears of Alaska, so I will post them. 

Standing on the sidewalk above Rockefeller Center watching skaters fall over and over again is a great experience. I highly suggest every one that visits the great city of New York partake is this activity. Apparently waving around a 70-200 and cheering for people as they were falling and wincing in pain causes a scene. Blair was no where in sight.

I leave today to go to my dads in Indiana after getting off the plane Thursday. New York was amazing. I have so much to say about it but no time. I can say that people did not like to have their picture taken at all. I got all kinds of looks and comments. So it was a challenge to shoot. Part 2 and 3 will follow as soon as I get back. Friday night Ed invited me to a bike race. I said yes not knowing what to expect just that Ed said it was going to be really awesome. That was good enough for me. So I went and it was awesome. The bikers raced on a track that was indoors and outdoors and had beautiful available light. It was quite interesting.

**Blogger Note** I’m leaving for New York City tonight and won’t be back till Thursday and will have several pictures.

 To some, raccoons are devious creatures who dig through trash cans and stalk through the night. But to Scott, it’s one more animal to skin.

On the farm, raccoons do more than just make a mess, they carry a disease which can infect horses’ spines and kill them dead. So on occasion, the farm sets traps to catch these vicious varmints.

Scott said he used to catch raccoons during the winter when he was a kid- 200-300 of them- and sell the skins. He can make up to $3,000 in only a few weeks. 

Jim and I took his new whip to find people in flood waters hanging on to a branch that was about to break for dear life and ended up finding The Dude. I had drove past him a few days before leaning up against his truck. Apparently he had not moved for he was in the same position when we found him three days later (picture 2). The Dude had more animals then he knew what to do with. He had to feed his geese just so that we could hear each other talk. Good times.

Not wanting to waste such a beautiful day Blair and I went to the lake to get on her boat. The boat was winterized for the winter, so we played with her dogs.
